Handwriting Machine Instructions

Get bulk handwritten notes for your clients by following the instructions below

  1. Click on the UUNA TEK app icon on the app dock
  2. Once app launches, click on the ‘Search Local’ button to see the connected machine
  3. Click on the connected machine, a login window will pop up with pre-filled username & password
  4. All you have to do at that point is click on the ‘Log on’ button
  5. Maximize window for easy visibility
  6. On the left pane, in the template section, click on ‘Open’
  7. A list of templates will open, select the ‘new greeting nomadics’ template
  8. Once its loaded up in the middle pane, click on any of the corners of the textbox
  9. An editable writeup box with the existing write up will pop up, edit it with your own write up and click on ‘apply’
  10. Click anywhere outside the writeup box to make it go away
  11. You can use the corners of the textbox to drag it around and position it properly on your canvas
  12. On the right pane, click on the ‘current’ button to load up your written doc into the machine, and select number of copies
  13. Now load your papers through the top of the machine like a printer (paper size settings are on the left pane below the template section)
  14. The top end of your paper should go in first (as shown in image below)
  15. Then on the right pane, click on the ‘Write’ button
  16. If the results are not what once it starts writing, use the ‘Stop’ button on the right pane, recalibrate and then load your paper again

TROUBLESHOOTING

Issue: The pen is writing past the paper boundaries
Solution: Check the paper settings and select the appropriate size, check the horizontal and vertical buttons and make the right one is selected.
 
Issue: No ink is coming out on paper

Solution: Check the visible pen to make sure there is still ink left. If there isn’t, call a trusted adult. Lol. Or unscrew the bolt holding the pen, and replace the pen. You might not get the distance of the pen from paper right the first time, keep trying until you do, Or call a trusted adult.

Issue: New written not showing up on paper
Solution: If you apply new changes to the textbox, you should click on the ‘Current’ button again, and then you will see a new line appear, click on that new line before clicking the ‘Write’ button
 
 
TIPS
  • The Macbook’s password is 1234
  • A blue pen makes it more believable
  • The ‘new greeting nomadics’ template is the most human looking handwriting
  • Try making one copy first before making a bulk print just to make sure it comes out the way you want it
